Hello, my name is Yuri and I am an italian student in "La Sapienza" University in Rome. I'm studying Computer Science at the DIS (http://www.dis.uniroma1.it) and I have also have collaboration with CNR Institute (http://www.cnr.it). My thesis work is on standard log format for easier log analysis, and I'm working on Common Base Event format developed by IBM. But another side of my work is parallelization of log analysis (splitting standard log files into n > 1 parts) on Grid systems, so splitted logs can be analysed through a Globus infrastructure by the submission of jobs to Worker Nodes. Anyway, I simply would like to know if you can help me through the research of any text on parallel log analysis or "state of the art" techniques by telling me even only one text, it will be very appreciated.
