No, I am not scared, because I don't need much 'desktop friendlyness'.
During the last 9 years, I have used FreeBSD as the only OS available on
my desktop, and I am sure that I have enough knowledge to create a
similar environment using Owl, and I'm asking these questions just to
learn how to get it done faster.  I'm absolutely comfortable with
configuring everything manually using shell/vi and don't need any GUI
tools offered by desktop-frienly OSes.
