-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 A combination of dhcpd and ifconfig should do the trick... Set the IP address via DHCP. You can set your mac address using ifconfig under linux as long as the driver supports it: ifconfig eth0 hw ether de:ea:db:ee:f0:00 A wee bit kludgy, but with a few mins work I'm sure you can knock up a script that will do this repeatedly, upping and downing the interface, with sequential MAC addresses and worm your way through a fair chunk of the available dhcp space. I'm looking for a UNIX program that will spoof DHCP requests (with a CLI for the mac address to send the request as) and then spew back out any responses it gets back from any DHCP servers out there, and what each of them gave it. - -- William Colburn, "Sysprog" <wcolburnat_private> Computer Center, New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology http://www.nmt.edu/tcc/ http://www.nmt.edu/~wcolburn -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGPfreeware 6.5.8 for non-commercial use <http://www.pgp.com> iQA/AwUBOud0xFKMcg0VZCu/EQJJfACdFWvMtw/uKASQb6D87FytBAHr0hEAoIvh bv8jv+tnoScCi89J1HCSfIeI =XbKR -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
