    Greetings again, Declan.

I work with VeriSign and, in response to the post below, wanted to pass
along the company's official position on their trust mark seal...

By implementing the new VeriSign trust mark on their Web sites, businesses
provide consumers with a greater degree of certainty, than is currently
available, that they're dealing with a real business. Improving the
reliability of trust marks and online safety is the goal of VeriSign's
trust mark program. VeriSign advises, however, that all
cases of online misrepresentation are best addressed through a combination
of technology and compliance processes. VeriSign has its own compliance
program in place to help detect erroneous online data and take appropriate
    action against it.

    For more information, see http://www.verisign.com/seal/secure/index.html

    Best Regards,
