Geee ... one wonders how law enforcement and our massive security
forces ever managed protect us at ALL, without an unlimited freedom
to snoop'n'peep.

(Remember when J. Edgar Hoover routinely wire-tapped and surveilled
suspicious threats to the national security like Elvis, the Beatles,
Desi and Ricky, etc.?  It was a time when movies out of Hollywood
ALWAYS portrayed his FBI in only the most pristine terms.)
