fwanalog 0.4 by Bal\341zs B\341r\341ny (http://freshmeat.net/users/balazs/) Thursday, August 23rd 2001 14:13 Categories: Internet :: Log Analysis, Security, System :: Logging, System :: Networking :: Firewalls About: fwanalog is a shell script that parses and summarizes firewall logfiles. It understands logs from BSD ipf, Linux 2.2 ipchains and 2.4 iptables. It uses the excellent log analysis program Analog (also free software) to create its reports. It does so by converting the firewall log into a fake web server log and calling Analog with a modified configuration. Changes: This release has much faster parsing of large logfiles, aliases for common trojan ports, a command line option for updating only today's report, and some smaller bugfixes.
