SILC superficially resembles IRC, although they are very different internally. The purpose of SILC is to provide secure conferencing services. Strong cryptographic methods are used to secure all traffic. The SILC is delivered as SILC Client for end users, SILC Server for system administrators, and SILC Toolkit for application developers. Changes: This release fixes fatal bugs in the JOIN and GETKEY commands. The IDENTIFY command is used in the GETKEY command to resolve server information. A nickname change bug was fixed. Other minor bugs were fixed. License: GNU General Public License (GPL) URL: http://freshmeat.net/projects/silc/ -- Elias Levy SecurityFocus http://www.securityfocus.com/ Si vis pacem, para bellum
