TransConnect 1.0 by Dwivedi Ajay kumar (http://freshmeat.net/users/ajayd/) Saturday, September 29th 2001 14:26 Category: System :: Networking About: TransConnect is an implementation of function interposing to allow users behind an HTTP proxy (which allows https) to use networking applications like telnet, ssh, fetchmail, irc, whois, etc. as if they were directly connected to the Internet. Changes: The config file name can now be specified as an environment variable. The check for non-TCP connections has been moved so that it fails before any other checks. The config file is now closed after reading. This solves a mysterious bug. A lot of code documentation has been added.
