    Large IT company in the Dallas, TX area in need of the following:
    
    Title
         Senior Firewall Engineer
    
    Description
    UNIX*Firewall Security Engineer will be responsible for writing internal
    rules for accounts,
    Firewall Security Administration, daily reviews of Firewall Audit
    Reports, and Network
    Intrusion Alerts. One will also handle responses and investigations:
    maintenance of internal
    security policies, procedures, and standards, coupled with action to the
    company and external      audit firms regarding Security Reviews.
    Additional tasks will include implementation of new
    products as well as upgrading existing products. Further
    responsibilities encompass technical
    writing, second level support, on-call responsibilities 24X7,
    interaction with customers on a
    daily basis, supporting service level agreements, data backup and
    recovery, and mentoring.
    
    The following skills are required: UNIX Administration (Solaris, BSDI,
    HPUX, Linux)and
    UNIX testing skills, project management, communication skills, and
    networking skills
    (TCP/IP). At least one full year of Firewall Engineering (checkpoint
    and/or Gauntlet) is a
    must. Additionally, one must have the ability to lift equipment (up to
    50 pounds). Preferred
    skills are CISCO PIX, Tivoli, HP Openview, Routers (CISCO, Bay
    Networks), and
    Programming (C, Perl, SQL, Shell). Any of the following Certifications
    are preferred: CCSA,
    CCSE, CISSP, CCIE, CCIA, Solaris Certified Administrator, or HP-UX.
