Title: Security Management Applications Product Manager Salary: $90k - 110k Location: Georgia (Statewide) Description: A product manager is at the center of product development and touches all the aspects of running the business, from product inception to retirement. This position is part of a team that is responsible for the strategic evolution of the company's security management applications with respect to the growth of revenue and market share. The product line currently includes an enterprise security decision support product. Future products will further enable the company's customers to effectively manage the security of their enterprise. Key responsibilities: Primary responsibility is defining and delivering revenue generating products and functionality based upon an in-depth understanding of prospect and customer problems related to enterprise-wide deployment of our company's products and other security products. This includes market analysis, quantitative analysis, strategic planning, and product planning. Other responsibilities include promotional communications and coordination, internal communications, and sales and other support. Skill requirements: Strong communications skills, including writing skills, public speaking skills, presentation skills, and being able to think quickly on one's feet. Strong analytical abilities, including the ability to pull actionable decisions from raw data, are required. Strong marketing skills, including product positioning, competitive analysis, and the ability to identify market trends as early as possible. Willingness to travel. Ability to work independently. Knowledge requirements: Three years real world (consultant or security practitioner) enterprise security operations/management experience or three years of product management experience required. Experience in the Internet software market or the computer security market is very desirable.
