Title: Security Support Engineer Responsibilities: This individual would be responsible for managing SilverBack’s security infrastructure on a day-to-day basis. Responsibilities include: enhancing existing security tools, techniques, and business processes; reviewing logs for security gaps; maintaining security-related records; managing firewall and mail security; and, conducting proactive internal surveillance. The breadth of responsibility spans customer-oriented services as well as back office functions. In addition, this individual should be capable of assisting with the resolution of general network management issues upon escalation. Experience & Expertise: The successful candidate likely would have had previous experience as a security engineer with responsibility for at a least a subset of physical, access, application, and information security. Experience with Internet-related security areas such as VPNs, SSH, firewalls, and authorization tools & techniques is a definite plus.
