    Job Description: Vulnerability Researcher
    Company: NetSec (Network Security Technologies, Inc.)

    individuals to join our top-notch tiger team.
    
    The position involves vulnerability research & development, and
    a supporting role in NetSec's professional services division as a
    part of a fly-away forensics/incident response and penetration team.
    
    
    Desired skills/experience include:
    
    * Real experience penetrating live systems on active networks.
    
    * Knowledge of both common and obscure hacker tools & techniques.
    
    * Experience finding vulnerabilities, fixing them, and writing
      demonstration exploitation programs for those vulnerabilities.
    
    * Basic knowledge of & experience with x.25 WANs and phone systems.
    
    * Strong knowledge of & experience with multiple UNIX platforms,
      especially Solaris & 4.4BSD.
    
    * Indepth knowledge of TCP/IP protocol suite & networking concepts in
      general.
    
    * Experience with and knowledge of firewalls and their underlying
      concepts/design.
    
    * Ability & willingness to learn new platforms & architectures.
    
    * C in a UNIX environment (other languages/environments a big plus) &
      experience with /bin/*sh.
    
    * Familiarity with one or more architectures (such as SPARC, x86, PA-RISC,
      PPC, MIPS).
    
    * Good writing & communication skills (including the ability to document
      and explain security issues, communicate with clients, and 'social
      engineer') are a plus.
