DESCRIPTION *Define the Security configuration policies for the client server environment, working closely with systems development and user groups to provide the appropriate level of control based on risk. *Implement a monitoring and compliance strategy to ensure security configurations are maintained. *Make quick decisions in response to Information security threats such as computer viruses and hacker attacks or attempted hacks. Requirements *3-5 years experience in systems engineering, current client server or network operating systems. *Degree in Information Systems or equivalent work experience. *Basic application development skills using tools such as C, Visual Basic, Java or scripting languages (Perl, Shell, Awk, CGI) is required. *Experience and familiarity with information security practices and trends is required. *Experience with multiple platforms and Solaris, Oracle or Tandem is a plus.
