Title: Information Technology Security Specialist/Investigator Location: Singapore (2 positions), Beijing, China (1 position) Salary: ~$80k - $100k Description: Primary responsibilities include the support of technical investigations into incidents of unauthorized use or access to computer, network and telecommunications resources throughout the Asia/Pacific and China region. Individual will also be responsible for performing security reviews/risk assessments of computer and network environments using both manual procedures and automated analysis tools such as Internet Security Scanner (ISS) and AXENT Enterprise Security Manager. Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills are required to document and communicate the results of completed investigations and security assessments. Secondary responsibilities include consultation on new security technologies and products to internal customers in order to expedite their implementation of cost effective information technology security solutions; providing awareness support to internal customers; and serving as a regional focal point for electronic security issues. Technical Skill Set Required: Individual must have technical, hands-on proficiency in at least two of the following areas: · Security administration of the UNIX operating system. · Security administration of Windows NT Server and NT Workstation operating systems. · TCP/IP administration/Internet/Intranet/Firewall technologies. · Remote access security techniques/products. In addition, the candidate should also have a sound understanding in the areas of security architecture, security policy/standards, data encryption and vulnerability analysis. Other Requirements: Must respond to out-of-hours security emergencies. Travel throughout the Asia/Pacific and China region.
