MARKET DEVELOPMENT MANAGER FINANCIAL SERVICES New York City Area The world’s most trusted name in e-security, seeks a marketing professional who, working closely with the Sales, Product Marketing and Marketing Program teams, can readily access & penetrate the financial services vertical market and identify vertical market direction, customer needs, competitors’ efforts and partner opportunities. Targeting the financial services market with active involvement in market forums and extensive customer & partner interaction, the successful candidate will pinpoint opportunities for promoting in financial services initiatives, deliver the message of strategic & product benefits to top prospects in the market, contribute to product strategy formulation and champion the development of marketing programs to successfully generate sales in the financial services market. The qualified candidate must hold 5-10 years’ experience in marketing high tech products (preferably in security software, enterprise software applications or network & data communications), possess effective presentation & communications skills, be a team player in cross-functional environments, have vertical market business/strategic analysis background and demonstrated ability to drive issues to closure. In addition, OEM technology experience & deep understanding of software licensing business models and specific knowledge of IT requirements in financial services organizations & contractors are essential. Availability to travel 30% of the time and BS Degree required; MBA a plus. Relocation is provided. Base salary between $90,000 and $120,000 + bonus + options.
