    An international Financial Services Group require an 
    additional Information Security Consultant to join an 
    existing large and reputable department headed from 
    the UK. The right candidates will have extensive 
    experience as a security consultant preferably within 
    the financial industry. The key deliverables will include 
    Risk Assessments and specifying security 
    requirements, defining policy standards and 
    guidelines, security product reviews, evaluations and 
    implementations, advice to business on technology 
    aspects of there plans, liaison with external regulatory 
    and law enforcement agencies, advice on policy and 
    standards interpretation and implementation, defining 
    security configurations defining firewall rule sets, 
    defining monitoring requirements. Detailed knowledge 
    of one or several of the following technologies; PKI, 
    Cryptography, viruses, middleware, WAP, 
    Authentication Schemes (Smart Cards, Biometrics 
    etc), Firewalls, preferably Firewall –1, Internet/Web 
    Security, Network Security (Cisco routers etc) 
    Oracle, Unix (HP and SUN) and NT. This department 
    are looking for confident very client facing individuals 
    who have the ability to communicate at Board level 
    effectively.
