Senior Security Engineer Location: Houston, TX Essential Duties: Seeking Senior IT/Security professional to work as part of a team developing applications in the security management area. Candidate will assist in product development and work on cross-functional teams improving product quality and security. Also will assist in interpreting government regulations such as HIPAA or BS7799 for product development. Requirements: Candidate should have strong knowledge of information security practices, particularly in Policy and procedures development. Also should have experience in User awareness and training; Physical security (IT); Technical security tools; User and system administration; System monitoring; Incident Handling and Response, and Business continuity planning. Knowledge of regulatory standards a strong plus. Excellent leadership and communication skills required. Must be self-motivated and be able to take ownership of significant project goals.
