Senior Security Technology Developer Network security solutions address problems ranging from intrusion detection, response, prevention, to integrated security management, and to building survivable systems. Specific examples of security solutions include intrusion vulnerability scanners, intrusion detection systems, virus scanning system, and firewalls. A new network security startup is looking for one candidate to complete its strong technology team. The team is engaged in a wide variety of exciting activities, including development of effective algorithms for detecting anomalous network events and distributed protocols for tracing and responding to such events. Prototype systems will be built and evaluated using a combination of analysis, simulation, and experimentation. The candidate should have earned at least an MS in Computer Science/Engineering or related field, or possess equivalent experience; the candidate should have solid background in operating systems and network protocols, and extensive experience with C/C++. Development experience in areas of network security is very important.
