Salary : $65k Base including Super Critical Relationships : Technical Consultants and Sales Team Position Summary : Systems engineer to detect the security risk elements of NSW client base Primary Accountabilities : § Develop customer specific reports, as a result of consultancy assignments, on such issues as; Risk assessment Intrusion detection Internet Security Firewall management Security policy enforcement Security vulnerabilities Single point of access § To assist with pre-sales projects as when required § Help solve problems involving very complex issues across multiple systems, requiring excellent verbal and written communications skills Specific Skills : § Knowledge of security technologies such as firewalls and anti virus software § Good understanding of networking and protocols : LAN/WAN technologies including all major operating systems § Knowledge of Security technologies would be an advantage ( Checkpoint Firewall, Netscreen, PKI etc ) Requirements ( Education Certification, Training and experience ) § Able to demonstrate knowledge and ability on a range of operating systems and network topologies.
