Job Requirements: Responsible for the research and understanding of existing security issues and exploits. The Security Researcher will build the required hardware and software environments and will then reproduce known exploits and will analyze them in order to create the appropriate security content for the company's product entercept (a highly sophisticated Server protection product) Skills: * Proficiency in security terms and contemporary security issues (Buffer overruns, DoS, DdoS, Trojans, Privileges escalation, Nukes, etc) * Knowledge and some experience in exploits testing and the usage of hacking tools * Ability to reproduce and analyze hacking techniques and exploits using limited information * Ability to install and configure a variety of OS, 3rd party applications, appliances, etc in order to create the appropriate environment for exploits reproduction * Programming knowledge * OS architecture knowledge (OS layers, processes, structures, behavior, etc0 * Communication ability is a must as well as the ability to work as part of a group and the ability to respond quickly to new and changing challenges Advantage: Familiarity with both Unix and Windows platforms Advantage: Connectivity to known and unknown sources for security information Entercept Security Technologies offers competitive salaries and employee benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan as well as stock options.
