Experience and Skills Requirements: Develop and configure network-testing environments for network products. Generate system test criteria and write test procedures for legacy and new networking products. Tests should include hacking attacks on network. Automate regression tests for various HW/SW version releases. Recommend changes and enhancements to the engineering group to existing and new products. Diagnose customers' network problems through the use of a network analyzer. Interface with manufacturing for factory-level testing. Assist with interface to installation group to specify installation/deployment procedures as necessary. Education Requirements: BS with several years (minimum) experience in Computer Science or a related field. A minimum of three years of experience in computer networking, including the use, configuration, and administration of firewalls and routers. Working knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, DHCP, DNS, and ICMP. Preferential consideration will be given to candidates with: MS in Computer Science or a related field. Familiarity with IPSec and associated RFCs. Networking gear design or test experience.
