KPMG Information Risk Management Position: Senior Manager Location: Denver The Information Risk Management (IRM) Practice helps clients manage risks associated with the accumulation, distribution and retention of information that may inhibit them from achieving their business objectives. IRM, growing in excess of 35% annually, is one of the firm's fastest growing areas with over 700 professionals and annual revenue of over $150 million per year. Products/services offered by IRM are focused in information security, business continuity planning, systems integration control, e-business risk management, project management risk, and IT assurance third parties. Required Experience The IRM Senior Manager will be responsible for helping to further build the firm's IRM business base with large clients in the Denver area and the Southwest region. This includes taking the lead in: Development and execution of a business development and marketing plan including leveraging the existing client base in the Southwest; identifying new target clients and key executives; and capitalizing on thought leadership development and market visibility opportunities Sales of information risk management engagements in areas such as information security and e-business risk management. This will include targeting and selling products/ services to existing and potential KPMG's clients; directing client needs assessments; scoping prospective engagements and developing proposals; and negotiating project contracts. The successful candidate will be expected to generate sales credit of $1 million or more per year. Education An undergraduate degree is required. Additional Skills · Eight or more years of experience in corporate information systems/information systems risk management and/or information systems risk consulting with a well-regarded professional services, systems integration or systems outsourcing organization. This should include business development and project management experience. · Demonstrated ability to identify business opportunities, attract new business and build lasting professional relationships with senior level IT executives and internal colleagues. · Strong information security background and technical aptitude required. · A seasoned consultant/executive with exceptional interpersonal skills who has demonstrated the ability to gain the confidence and respect of senior executives. · An entrepreneurial individual who is motivated to help continue to grow KPMG's IRM presence in a broad marketplace. · A strong client service orientation and is accustomed to taking an active role in executing engagements. · Has excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
