    We are working with a confidential client seeking a 
    Senior Security Architect in Seattle. Please have a 
    MINIMUM of 7 or more years of Security experience in 
    a consulting/professional services environment. This 
    consulting experience is key. You must have very 
    strong demonstrated experience and hands-on 
    execution track record. Experience interacting with 
    clevel clientele is essential. Candidates out of the big 
    five or other services firm are highly desired. Ability 
    for some travel regionally is essential.
    
    Applicants need to be intimately familiar with IP 
    firewalls (corporate and personal), VPNs, web 
    application security, password technologies (l0pht-
    crack, etc.), access rights and token cards, key 
    management, crypto acceleration cards, network 
    designs from a security perspective with the ability to 
    weigh the trade-off’s regarding performance and 
    complexity; database security, middleware security, 
    backup security, collocation facility security, operating 
    systems security (UNIX {Solaris, Linux}, NT, win2k), 
    communications security (TCP/IP, Ethernet, routing 
    and switching/hubs {Cisco and other}, DNS, SMTP, 
    https/SSL, ssh, sftp, etc.), intrusion detection 
    (tripwire, snort, packet sniffing, etc.) 
    
    An advanced understanding of the concepts of 
    (distributed) systems design and algorithmic security 
    (including basic cryptography).
    
    Computer Science or Information Systems Degree 
    highly preferred. MBA a plus.
