POSITION SUMMERY: Designing, implementing, and maintaining the companies security policy down to centrally managing the administration across multiple hardware and software platforms. RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and implement a company wide Security Policy for logical (content) data integrity that is in alignment with business goals and protects corporate data assets. Develop, train and retain a highly motivated Security Administration team utilizing and leveraging existing Help Desk and other assistants. Automate existing security procedures to streamline processes, eliminate errors, and improve service to customers. Application level data protection. Establish and administer a standard security philosophy across MVS, UNIX, PC, File Server and LAN/WAN Network hardware and software platforms. Facilitating a secure logical data environment which allows for periodic external audits. Evaluate and recommend third-party security software packages, and/or develop in-house software. Prepare, distribute and explain written security policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards. EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS: Four year degree or equivalent experience. Minimum of five-seven years of security experience as an administrator or analyst. VPN, IDS, PKI experience. RACF-mainframe, Checkpoint, UNIX, Internet experience required. A working knowledge of OS/390, TSO/E, CLISTS, JCL, and SAS is desired and a working knowledge of LAN, File Server, PC, UNIX, TCP/IP, Lawson, LDAP, and VPN environments would be a plus. ASP environment experience is also a plus.
