Hi. The company I'm working for, Quicksilver Technology, is
looking for security and crypto software engineers.

[please, principals only, email only, reply to ericm@
    qstech.com. Thanks!]

Quicksilver Technology is a well-funded Silicon Valley startup that's
developing radical new chip architectures involving reconfigureable
computing. The technology being developed at QuickSilver will offer
innovative solutions for the multimedia, wireless, mobile computing,
and security applications that are being envisioned for the next ten
    years and beyond.

The web site www.qstech.com has more info on what QST is doing.

The Quicksilver security team is looking to fill the following positions:

    Embedded Systems Engineer:

Responsible for developing the embedded/client portions of the QST
security system. Will work with a team of five to six engineers to
design and implement a security infrastructure for QST's Adaptive
    Computing Engine.

    Requirements:

Four years experience in C or C++ development.
Three years experience in embedded development.
Work experience in secure systems is a plus.
    Cryptography experience a plus.
    ASN.1 experience a plus.
Background in communications protocols (OSI model) a plus.
Database and client/server experience a plus.
Ability to work cooperatively and get along with the rest of the team.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

    Cryptography Engineer:

Responsible for implementing cryptographic algorithms on QST's (very
different) architecture. Responsible for Cryptographic algorithm
complexity analysis and subsequent coding (at a very low level,
i.e., close to the hardware initially). Responsible for driving the
implementation of 3DES and RSA, with other algorithms such as AES and
ECC a possibility. Will work with a team of five to six engineers to
implement a security infrastructure for QST's Adaptive Computing Engine.

    Requirements:

Three years experience in implementing cryptography algorithms.
Five years experience in C or C++ development.
Three years experience in embedded development.
    Solid mathematics background.
    DSP experience a plus.
    ASN.1 experience a plus.
Ability to work cooperatively and get along with the rest of the team.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
