    quartered in California with over 250 employees 
    around the world. 
    
    The company is one of the largest and most 
    successful developers of smart card related software 
    and services focused on authentication and 
    identification.
    
    Our Client has won many large scale deployments of 
    its technologies around the world in various banks, 
    government agencies and defense organizations. 
    
    Our Client seeks to employ a Senior Systems 
    Engineer in the United Kingdom to assist in the 
    implementation and promotion of a exciting new 
    service based on leading edge technology.
    
    Remuneration:
    $negotiable, but paid in GBP with a performance 
    related bonus

    Position:
    
    We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer with a 
    proven track record in problem resolution, network 
    diagnoses. The successful candidate will also have a 
    track record of large project implementation and roll 
    out with emphasis on multiple branch office VPN, and 
    or remote user VPN design and implementation 
    experience.
    
    Experience in a number of the following areas, 
    information security, consulting, project management 
    & audit is considered an advantage.
    
    The successful candidate will be responsible for 
    assisting a major UK company bring on-line a new 
    exciting Internet Authentication Service (IAS) that 
    encompasses VPN, Smart card and PKI 
    technologies. 
    
    The successful candidate will be required to provide 
    project management, network design and hands on 
    assistance during the implementation phase. Post 
    implementation, the successful candidate will be 
    required to assist the company in a presales capacity 
    as well as plan for service upgrades.
    
    
    
    Key Qualifications / Experience
    
    The successful candidate will have qualifications in 
    the following areas or equivalent experience:
    
     Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
     Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
     Checkpoint Certified Security Administrator (CCSA)
     Gauntlet certification or experience
    
    The successful candidate will have experience with 
    following software, operating systems and protocols: 
    
     Cisco IOS version 10-12,
     Windows NT4.0, NT3.51 (server & workstations), 
     Windows 2000 Professional & Server
     Windows 95&98, MS-DOS
     Unix Solaris (Version 7 & 8)
     Microsoft Exchange Server
     Lotus Notes 
     HP Open View
     SNMP 
     Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Outlook
     Checkpoint firewall 
     NAT software implementations 
     TCP/IP, IPX/SPX, RIP, OSFP, EIGRP
