GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide hands-on technical excellence and leadership in security and directory services to e- Marketplace Technology Center and global technical community in the execution of the following responsibilities: Provide hands-on administration and configuration of SSO and LDAP product set supporting infrastructure and application development initiatives worldwide. Collaborate with Architecture group to develop, maintain and communicate strategic security and directory services architecture. In conjunction with Global Architecture team, facilitate and provide hands-on security and directory services related collaboration and mentorship services to distributed application development initiatives/teams and associated support personnel. Leverage existing SSO and LDAP expertise and actively seek to evangelize and establish new centers of expertise throughout the organization. Create and maintain demonstrable prototypes and testing and deployment guidelines for SSO and LDAP e-Marketplace components. Support central and engagement-specific technology training initiatives. Act as technical liaison to other technical departments and development teams to ensure the realization of potential enterprise-wide synergies with respect to Internet, Intranet and Extranet connectivity and architecture. Ensure that security and directory services architecture is scalable, manageable and flexible for future growth. Track/monitor emerging security and directory services technologies and products and evaluate the potential for integration into the e-Marketplace Platform. Work with customers and development teams to establish, promote, and enforce architectural guidelines. QUALIFYING SKILLS/EXPERIENCE B.S. degree or equivalent experience required. Exceptionally strong technical aptitude. Ability to insightfully assess complex technical and business challenges and quickly recommend, articulate and/or apply n-tier solutions in an appropriate manner.
