TruSecure Corporation is seeking several information security professionals to join our team and work within our newly acquired managed security services group. Positions are based in the Atlanta suburb of Norcross, Georgia. OPERATIONS SECURITY ENGINEER Position Description Responsible for providing high level technical support to Tier I engineers, Clients and Engineering resources as necessary, in fault isolation, resolution and documenting of events and incidents. Will provide analysis/ assessments on security exposures and opportunities to Clients as required. Will also act as a technical interface and escalation to Engineering, and other internal resources as directed. Other Duties include: * Participation in development and maintenance of SOC specific documentation to include Standard Operating Procedures, process flows, and Network Topology documentation. * Participation in development and delivery of internal training for Tier I & II engineers. * Provides coaching and direction to other security associates to help increase their effectiveness and facilitate professional growth and development. * Accurate and timely documenting of event determination and resolution via existing tools. * Will conduct regular meetings with Engineering as part of continued process improvement efforts, in development, refinement and usage of tools. * Metric development and reporting as directed. * Periodic participation in Client meetings. * Periodically will serve as Shift Team Lead * Dispatch and coordination of vendors as and where necessary. * Will participate in "On-Call" support activities as directed. * Participate in proposal and contract reviews as necessary. * Other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: Education: Ideal candidate will have an Information Systems, Computer Science degree or equivalent work experience. Two or more security or network certifications i.e., CISSP, CCSE, CCSA, CCNA, CCNP are required. Experience: 5-7 years experience in, design, integration, implementation and analysis and support of Network and Systems security. Experience in a 7 x 24 support center is highly preferable. Must have a complete understanding of security practices, principles, security technologies, and configuration expertise on Firewalls, IDS's, Host and Router security methodologies. Required Skills: Operating Systems: Unix, Solaris, Linux Redhat v7.1, Windows NT/2000. Protocols: Must have keen knowledge of SSH and TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, Syslog, and SNMP. Familiarization with trouble-ticketing systems such as Remedy is a plus. Firewalls: Must have good understanding of Firewall technologies and have working knowledge of two or more of the following Firewalls: Checkpoint FW1, Raptor, or Cisco Pix. IDS: Must have complete understanding of intrusion detection technologies and experience with two or more of the following tools: Dragon (Sensor and Squire), ISS Real Secure. Must have excellent interpersonal skills, sound oral and written presentation skills, and very strong Customer phone skills. Candidate must be detail oriented and team player. SECURITY DESIGN ENGINEER Position Description Responsible for design and implementation of customer premise security solutions for a managed security services company. This is a very senior position that requires top-tier hand-on security expertise, especially in security design and architecture, and also requires very professional client handling skills, in a very independent environment. Requirements Education: Ideal candidate will have an Information Systems, Computer Science degree or equivalent work experience. Experience: Ideal candidate will have a background that includes consulting and/or systems integration work for Fortune 1000 clients. Moderate to heavy travel will be required. Excellent customer skills are mandatory, including experience in managing customer expectations and handling scope creep. Must also have good writing skills and experience creating design documents and client deliverables.
