    Entercept Security Technologies, the leading provider of server-based intrusion prevention solution, is looking for a Director of Professional Services.
     
    The general responsibilities for this position include:
    
    * Lead Entercept's professional services efforts as well as training and education.  
    * Develop and launch a new professional consulting service initiative within 90 days of joining the company.  
    * Define staffing requirements and conduct necessary staffing tasks including: hiring, firing, mentoring, etc.
    * Act as primary liason between services and VP of Marketing, services and sales (including VP of sales), services and SE's.
    
    We are looking for someone with the following skills:
    
    * 7+ years of professional services background, leading for a minimum of 3.
    * Experience with all 3 aspects of the job: training/education, customer support, consulting services.
    * Strong written and verbal communications skills.
    * 2-3 years in the security industry preferably intrusion detection, firewalls, or vulnerability assessment.
    * Proven program management skills running programs from concept to completion.
    * Experience developing service offerings for product oriented companies, preferably software.
    
    The following soft skills will give you a decided edge:
    
    * Leadership
    * Interpersonal communication (including writing skills)
    * Good manager/mentor
    * Comfortable interfacing with all levels of management
    * Team player
    * Good understanding of sales cycles, sales people, sales processes, sales mentality
