    Regional Sales Engineer New York, NY – Bay Area
     
    
    Responsibilities
    The Sales Engineer will work closely with a sales 
    representative in a defined territory. The Sales Engineer's 
    main mission will be to support the sales organization in 
    all technical matters regarding pre-sales, sales calls, and 
    post-sales. Regarding the pre-sales, the Sales Engineer 
    will assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical 
    standpoint. Regarding the sales calls, the Sales Engineer 
    will be the main technical resource on sales calls and will 
    answer and educate the customer on issues ranging from 
    features, specifications and functionality to integration. 
    In this role, the Sales Engineer will be very conversant 
    with networking applications and solutions. Finally during 
    the post-sales, the Sales Engineer will be the lead 
    technical contact for identified accounts for technical 
    issues and will work closely with the technical support 
    team and engineering to answer, elevate and resolve 
    customers technical issues. The Sales Engineer will also 
    assist identified customers with post-sales training.
    
    Qualifications
    The ideal candidate will possess outstanding presentation 
    skills, credibility as a technical resource (experience 
    with Networking security, UNIX, HTML, CGI and XML), have 
    hands on experience in integrating ecommerce applications 
    and solutions, enjoy working with customers and potential 
    customers and be able to travel 25% of the time. CISSP a 
    BIG plus.
