    POSITION:  Wireless Security Architect
    RESPONSIBILITY: Development and validation of security 
    software for next generation OMAP™ platforms.
    WORK: Assist in defining security product requirements and 
    specifications, strategy and security roadmap. Requires 
    candidate to do: (a) Hands on development of SW and HW 
    security solutions including design, development, test, and 
    validation, and (b) Interface/Support SW and HW development 
    teams, marketing and field application engineers, OMAP 
    customers, 3rd party Application Developers, and Security 
    components & services vendors
    LOCATION: Dallas, Texas
    REQD. EDUCATION: B.S./M.S. in Comp. Sci., Elec. Eng., or 
    related field
    REQD. EXPERIENCE: 5-10 years 
    REQD. SKILLS:
    *  Solid hands-on security knowledge including Cryptography 
    (PKI and certificate management, wireless security 
    protocols, etc.), DRM, Firewall, Antivirus, Network 
    communication protocols, Enterprise security, and Security 
    assurance and validation.
    *  System level security experience and knowledge including 
    understanding of threats and counter-measures 
    *  Strong experience in developing, implementing, testing, 
    and validating crypto software and applications on an 
    embedded platform, specifically in the PDA and/or 
    SmartPhone space. 
    *  Working knowledge of embedded operating system 
    environments including Symbian, WinCE, Palm, and Linux, 
    Security API’s, and Kernel-mode development and debugging
    *  Hands-on experience with C/C++, Java programming
    *  Experience with ARM and DSP (esp. TI DSP) based 
    platforms including assembly programming.
    *  Broad-based knowledge of the embedded systems and 
    software security space, and ability to apply that 
    knowledge personably to external and internal customer 
    support.  Broad knowledge includes the ability to function 
    comfortably at the application layer on high-level OS, 
    possibly down to the device driver and hardware level.
    *  Familiarity with 802.11, and BlueTooth protocols and 
    security
    *  Industry standard certifications a plus
    *  Telephony/Networking middleware experience
    *  Good Project management, Communication and Presentation 
    skills, and Team player.
    *  Manage multiple tasks simultaneously and take initiative 
    to overcome barriers in a self-directed project 
    environment.
