We are searching for a senior application security architect with extensive
hands on experience with several programming languages on various platforms.

This is a security architecture role, not a developer role, although some is
required. We will be entertaining local candidates first.

One aspect of the role includes experience with coding to vendor defined
API's. We need someone who can take the business requirements and derive
security specific solutions from those and also select the appropriate
security vendors. My client is highly concerned about the application and
data layer and this is all for their internet facing business. They are
taking their e-business inititive online very soon. This is a large
environment consisting of various OS in a tri-state region. The overall
corporate security deadline has been moved up three months and you will have
full support from the executive level.

You will assist developers with the integration of various security
applications throughout the enterprise. You will conduct research on new
information security technologies in the areas of application and
application infrastructure components. You will also be responsible for the
full lifecycle project management of the new security service you deemed
applicable. This will consist of all project phases from business case
development to internal marketing material development.

We need hands on experience in as many of the following:

C, C++, Java, XML, applied in OO n-tier application development.

API's and general security protocals: MS CryptoAPI, PAM, Kerberos, DCE
    Security Service, SSL/TLS, SAML, GSS-API, S/MIME, PKCS API's, etc.

Manhunt IDS and Tripwire (though not required).

    Regards,
