    Security professionals,

We are currently looking for a senior information security professional to
start immediately as the 'go-to' information security person for a global
    company based in OR.
You will be responsible for conducting GAP analysis as well as corporate
auditing for the status of their current security infrastructure worldwide.
A Bay Area based security software company has been picked to complete a
disaster recovery assessment, of which you will be a part of as well. You
will be in charge of developing new policies and procedures as well as a
security education program and must have project management experience and
experience developing enterprise wide security strategies.
The chosen candidate will be familiar with assessing the impact on the
business caused by theft, destruction, alteration, or denial of access to
information or systems. You will be administering security controls to
prevent unauthorized persons (hackers...) from infiltrating company
information or jeopardizing e-Commerce programs. This person ensures
maintenance of the security systems for routers and switches and administers
security policies to control access to systems.
An aggressive, positive person who will challenge the status quo is sought.
    Technologies such as Tripwire/ Checkpoint/ Nokia/ Win NT/2000/ Sun/ Linux/
ISS/ LDAP are currently being used. An IDS is budgeted, but the product
hasn't been specified just yet. The company is 600 individuals worldwide
who are supported by 150 servers. Less than 25% travel involved and
priority will be given to those who are local to the North West and/or speak
a foreign language. This is a new role and is to be filled ASAP. Ability
and willingness to interact with senior management or executive levels on
matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers is
a must as well as excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

As always, for further information and a confidential interview, please
contact me on the following. Thank you for your time.

    Kind Regards,
