    02-0002304 -- ABS - Information Systems Security Officer
    
    Support to the Government Solutions Security Organization as the 
    Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO).   The primary job 
    mission will be to meet government accreditation requirements under 
    the DoD Information Technology Security Certification and 
    Accreditation Process (DITSCAP) to include D/CID 6/3.  Automated 
    Information System Security Plans (AI/SSP) will be prepared, updated, 
    continually maintained and periodically briefed to the TS/SCI cleared 
    workforce. The applicant will provide security support to classified 
    and unclassified networks in accordance with guidelines established 
    by the U.S. Government.  Performing   security monitoring and 
    auditing of networks to verify security compliance and the security 
    configuration of components will take place within Sensitive 
    Compartment Information Facilities (SCIFs) and controlled access 
    locations.  Applicant needs to understand the basics about Red/Black 
    installation and encryption.  Fieldwork will require some travel in 
    the Washington, D.C., Northern Virginia and the Maryland metropolitan 
    area.  Other CONUS or OCONUS travel may be required on a limited 
    basis.  Skill set expected to include 
    
     at least 5 years of INFOSEC experience related to the above with 
    formal education, degree/s and professional certification in the 
    field a plus.  Related work experience may substiture for formal 
    degree.  Windows NT and MS Office, in particular MS Word, experience 
    is also desired. Excellent verbal and written communication  skills 
    required.  The applicant will interface regularly with U.S. 
    Government customers and is expected to able to make practical 
    application of Government regulations. Deadlines and teamwork are 
    part of the work environment.  Candidate must be a US citizen and 
    must have an active TS/SCI clearance and successfully pass a full 
    scope polygraph examination.
