Responsible for developing product and technical support strategy for current and future products and services based on long term corporate goals. A successful candidate must have international experience or extensive experience remotely managing a team of engineers. This role requires a customer-focused executive who can work closely with the CEO and executive team in defining the product strategy and managing the timely delivery of products. This person will act as the Corporate Technology Visionary in customer and industry presentations. They will be a member of the Senior Management team, reporting to the CEO. Candidate must have excellent technical, leadership and communication skills together with a minimum of 10 years experience in senior technical management positions and at least 3 years experience working within early stage technical start-up companies. Hardware and software product development, testing and support also required. Candidate must be familiar with network security, network architecture and infrastructure combined with practical experience in software development and testing processes and methodologies. Specific skills required include vendor and project management, budgeting and project planning, team building and technical leadership, software product development, systems level programming (TCP/IP packet level network programming experience preferred).
