In its current state, the team is somewhat undisciplined and lacking a unified focus. The manager will need to constructively infuse the team with structure, unity and vision. The people are good, they just need someone to provide support and strategic direction. It’s not a “cake walk” by any means but the role is highly visible and extremely important within the organization. The person that will successfully fill this role must have ability, confidence, credibility and guts. The job reports to the Director of Security and will interface heavily with the Enterprise Policy and Architecture group. If you are qualified and interested, drop a line to discuss. I also have similar jobs with other clients in Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio. Ohio seems to be the hot place for corporate security jobs. Go figure.
