    Our small but growing managed security consultancy based in New Jersey
    is seeking an experienced, self-propelled, highly motivated individual to
    fill a highly technical position.  The ideal candidate will be responsible
    for providing significant technical expertise, standards development,
    program development, risk assessment, and reporting in the area of
    computer/network security and vulnerability analysis.
    
    
    Job Description:
    
    - Firewall administration and maintenance
    - Network and Host-Based Intrusion Detection monitoring and response
    - Network Vulnerability scanning, assessment, traffic analysis and reporting
    - Host vulnerability assessment and host hardening
    
    
    Qualifications:
    
    - CSS1 certified individual responsible for configuration and managemnt of
      Cisco routers, firewalls and NID systems.
    - Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    - Experience as a Unix and/or Windows NT System Administrator (2+ yrs)
    - Detailed understanding of TCP/IP networking, including encryption, IPsec,
      VPNs, stateful firewalls and router access-lists.
    - Experience with both network and host-based Intrusion Detection products
    - Advanced knowledge of Information Security concepts, including security policies,
      standards, and guidelines (CISSP/SANS GIAC certifications preferred)
    - Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
    - Ability to communicate clearly with technical staff as well as less technical colleagues
    - Experience with Open Source operating systems and software a plus
    
    
    Certifications:
    
    - Cisco Security Specialist 1 (CSS1) Certification (required)
    - SANS GIAC Certifications (optional desired)
    - CISSP / SSCP (optional)
