Hello, I am looking for an entry level security
position. Ideally I would like to be part of a team
where I could gain security experience and undergo some
    formal training/certification.

I have total 8 years of UNIX experience in both R&D and
datacenter environments. I have been resposible for
installation and maintenance of Checkpoint firewalls
and network routing configuration as part of UNIX
administration positions. I am most familiar with Sun
Solaris and I have extensive knowledge of Linux and
FreeBSD. I have been leading initial installations and
production maintenance for a .COM using J2EE
    (Weblogic/iPlanet/Oracle clusters) and configuring
network switches for fail-over and load-balancing.
    I have some C programming/debugging experience (UNIX)
along with strong Perl and shell scripts.
Currently self employed UNIX consultant with clients in
    south-eastern CT/NY area.

I speak fluent English, Russian, Hebrew and learning Japanese.
I'm legally authorized to be employed by any U.S. company.
Currently located in Connecticut, 1 hour drive from Manhattan.
I prefer to work in NY or SF area, but will consider relocation
    to other regions.

Please reply to mailat_private for complete copy
    of my resume.

    Thanks!
