Incident Response / Digital Forensics Lead Chicago, Illinois $90 - $100K My client is a large corporate organization and they are seeking an accomplished CIRT/Digtital Forensics professional that will be responsible for the following: Responding to all system incident investigations. Collecting evidence and maintain chain of custody records. Conducting extensive forensic analysis. Developing detailed reporting methods and procedures. Evaluating new forensic technology and methods. Maintaining current industry standard forensic certifications and methodologies. The ideal candidate must have a strong working knowledge of: Hands on application of forensic tools such as: Encase, Safeback, FTK, etc. Hands on application of LAN Tech skills with desktop PC's and UNIX systems. Hands on application of backup media such as Sony PC Backer II, 4mm tape. Hands on application of reading and analyzing IIS, FW, Router and Proxy logs. Malware such as: viruses, trojans, worms and other exploits, etc. E-mail issues such as: spamming, spoofing, highjacking, etc. Ability to liaison with Federal, State and local Law Enforcement when necessary. Qualified candidates must possess 5 - 10 years of network/systems forensics with certifications in GIAC, CISSP, etc. Prior Law Enforcement experience is a plus. This description is VERY basic.
