    Security Sales Evangelist  - Boston (Northeast), Atlanta (Southeast)
    $120K base salary, $200K at plan
    
    My client is looking for someone with leadership ability and a strong
    background in enterprise security sales to take on a multi-faceted
    role.  The client is a large name within the IT industry offering a
    range of products and services.  Due to the scale of their business,
    regional sales teams have responsibility of selling the full product and
    services suite. The primary role of this position will be to evangelize
    and support the sale of security offerings focused on access, identity
    and threat management.
    
    Key responsibilities:
    
    Work closely with regional sales staff:
    Increase awareness of products’ capabilities and market relevance.
    Motivate and coach sales staff in an effort to grow product suite sales.
    
    Help define selling strategies for different client
    environments/business models.
    Act as SME regarding product suite, provide direct sales support to
    account execs.
    
    Work with clients:
     Employing a consultative selling style, work to define clients’
    requirements.
    Develop a client specific solution based in defensible ROI models.
    Present the client with a unique vision of how products can meet their
    needs.
    Actively pursue new business opportunities utilizing industry contacts.
    
    Minimum qualifications:
    
     10 years of IT industry sales experience.
     College degree or significantly relevant experience
     5+ years of dedicated security sales – products and services, emphasis
    on products.
     Consultative selling style, client relationship management skills.
     Public speaking ability, advanced written and verbal communication
    skills.
     High level of market awareness and the competitive environment.
     Deep knowledge of access control and identity management technologies.
    
    Desired qualifications:
    
     Industry certifications (ex: CISSP, SANS, product specific training)
     Professional sales training
     Affiliations with industry organizations
     Author and/or speaker on related topics
