They owe the genuine "hackers" out there (old term hackers, not the new term) that geniunly find holes and don't do malicious acts such as website defacement, etc. The people out there that try to help. In Australia we had such an episode when someone found that the goverment's online tax system easily allowed you to view other user's posted details (tax returns, etc.). And instead of recognising the fact that this person had saved the goverment from a potentially fatal episode of script-kiddies running around their website, the goverment tried to put him in jail. Anyone else praise script kiddies?
