The thing that we as the Security Community need to do is contact our
representatives. You voted for them and/or they represent you and are your
    voice.

You can find out who your senators and representatives are by looking at
http://www.vote-smart.org. Call them or snail-mail them (most do not accept
email as a form of contact as of yet --- I'd imagine this has something to do
with their fear of the internet and the "terrorist threat"). If you call,
you normally will not be able to talk directly to them, but you can leave a
message stating the bill number and/or description and some well though out
    words of wisdom for them.

You have every right to let your representative(s) know how you feel and
suggest very kindly that you wish they would consider not supporting this
bill and/or amendment. Be kind and professional and you will be surprised
    how far that will go.

    Thanks,
    Paul Kincaid
