When I start getting "Nostradamus" e-mail... I quit.

I have not noticed any significant change in spam rates. IIRC, there has
been one or two full-on spams sent to CRIME, and several more posts of
people forwarding spam here to ask questions.

IMHO, the spam questions are marginally off-topic for CRIME. Generic
spam discussion belongs elsewhere (see http://www.cauce.org/ for
resources). The part of the question that is marginally relevant here is
the criminal aspect. Many spams contain various outright illegal
solicitations (stock pump & dump scams, the famous Nigerian/etc. money
laundering scam, plain old chain letter/Ponzi schemes, child porn, etc.)
Would any of the law enforcement folks on this list have info on how to
introduce these charming characters to their local law enforcement?

    Thanks,
        Crispin
