Didn't take them long, I got a "Nigerian" spam from "Liberia" sent from a Hungarian open relay. Does the SS even bother to follow up on such cases - I somehow don't think the Hungarian police really place that high of a priority on requests from the SS (most likely because they are too busy robbing tourist buses) Any thoughts? -----Original Message----- From: owner-crime@private [mailto:owner-crime@private]On Behalf Of Rob Jacobsen Sent: Friday, August 15, 2003 7:54 AM To: Crime Subject: CRIME How-to question Since there has been a bit of discussion regarding online scams. I thought I should ask what is the best method for sending the offending e-mail to the authorities? Should I convert it to a file and attach that or forward the message or ???? I'm sure they will want all the headers and such to tell where the message originated, so what is the best way to preserve that infomation and get it to the right hands? Thanks for the education.
