There is a feature in Apache 1.3 to allow you to send the Error log to Syslog. You want to use something like:- ErrorLog syslog:facility Default facility unless specified is local7. Docs at http://httpd.apache.org/docs-2.0/mod/core.html#errorlog As far as the access logs go, if you're running a busy webserver, then the access logs can get pretty big. What benefit does everyone perceive from piping the access logs out to syslog?
