Our current computing complex sends about 1.2-1.7 million log records
per day.  That's from ~500 UNIX hosts; we haven't integrated the
Windows stuff there yet.

Probably about 15 million web hits daily across 80 web instances on 20
physical servers.  But our "hits" might return from 100Mb to 250 Gb in
response to a query ("heavy hits").
