    The people who responded questioning the legality are very, very right.  If
    you don't whether you are legal or not, DO NOT TAPE THE CONVERSATION.  
    
    The other item I forgot to mention.  If you are going to have a friend call,
    think about what the caller ID is going to say.

    telephone conversation with out the consent of all parties, or a court
    order.
