A major information security information management company is looking for a E-Security Portal Engineer Detailed information follows: ----------------------------------------------------------------- ---------- Position Title: E-Security Portal Engineer Position Location: Boston Required Education: BA/BS Engineering or Business, MBA or other advanced Degree Critical Skills: *Several years of demonstrated project/program management, with successful implementation of key quality, logistic or engineering programs *Hands on experience with a multinational, multi- product, services company *Minimum 5-7 years information systems operations experience *Recognized expert in one or more areas of systems operations Requirements: *Proven ability to develop and implement key Customer strategies *Must have proven successful business experience in a dynamic e-business environment *Successful leadership skills to effectively direct the efforts of a multi-geographical organization, while at the same time afford the ability to influence change within the company for Customer programs *Strong project management and communications skills, that encourage successful partnering with a variety of internal and external disciplines *Working knowledge of the e-Security business *Broad based experience level in a variety of disciplines, to insure the ability to contribute strategically to the company direction. Responsibilites: *Overseeing portal management service delivery from the US office. *Communicating and managing outage status high availability of the portal site *Initiating and/or strong participation in outages and crisis situations *Some metrics reporting and analysis. *Root cause analysis for problems that do occur *Change management involvement of portal content. *Consulting with other company groups to provide continuous improvements *Work with the IT Security group to develop and implement robust portal security including strategy, approach, software and processes *Work with the portal team to design, develop and deploy portal components and hosting strategies Job Description: To provide a day-to-day service delivery oversight role for our portal products from the Boston based office.
