Tony Carr Job Description: The Senior Security Administrator is responsible for developing and implementing data security systems that will provide detection, prevention, containment and deterrence mechanisms to protect and maintain the integrity of data files throughout the firm Responsibilities · Refine and implement the current data security plan according to established timelines · Develop and maintain policy and procedures that are designed to protect designed computer programs, data bases and data files from unauthorized or accidental duplication, modification or destruction. · Establish and maintain correct access rules defining who has access to which data sets under what circumstances · Recommend specific improvements to security and internal control and follows up on all recommendations. Qualifications · Strong O/S, NT, UNIX, Network Routing skills are required · Prior exp. Building Firewall GUI's · Enterprise level security experience · Must have demonstrated project management experience · BS degree or equivalent experience is required · Financial or Government Industry experience required · Five to seven years of previous systems administration experience in UNIX, NT and networking · One to two years in Data Security systems required · Must have hands on firewall experience.
