In this role you will be responsible for the development and implementation of Company-wide Information Security measures. You will recommend integrated system security solutions that will ensure proprietary and confidential data and systems are protected. You will develop, maintain, monitor and enhance security strategy, plans, standards, guidelines, policies and procedures including compliance monitoring procedures. You will work with marketing and technology management regarding their changing business and technical plans to ensure that information security issues are addressed and implemented. You will develop the overall security architecture and coordinate all company activities with security implications to include monitoring all services, systems, policies and procedures in order to ensure meaningful security practices. You will provide expertise and guidance in the selection, implementation and administration of security tools. You must have no less than 10 years of experience in Information Technology with no less than 5 years of experience in a capacity where you have lead Information Security. You must demonstrate a strong understanding of security concepts and a high level of understanding of hardware and software architectures. You must be skilled in all of the following areas: information security management practices, physical security, laws and ethics, business continuity and disaster recovery planning, application and system development, operations security, security architecture models, cryptography, access control systems and network security. You must demonstrate the ability to relate business requirements and risks to technology implementation of security-related issues. You must have extensive knowledge of regulatory environments associated with Financial Services. You must demonstrate the ability to influence personnel through a matrix organization and to facilitate diverse disciplines and personnel with disparate technical backgrounds. You must be able to work effectively with outside consultants and auditors relative to security and privacy matters. You must have developed a network of security providers, contacts and affiliations to include vendor/contract management and service/product selection. Your technical skills must include experience with VPN, Encryption, UNIX, Windows and Intrusion Detection technologies. Your certifications must include the CISSP, CISA, SSCP and/or GIAC certifications from SANS. It is preferred that you have a background in IT Audit. Please contact me for more details.
